A trio of CAC teams had their 2016 fall seasons extended on Monday afternoon, as Frostburg State women's soccer, Marymount volleyball, and Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer each earned postseason bids into the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament. 

In women's soccer, Frostburg State (10-9-1) was selected as the No. 4 seed in Region 3 and take on top-seeded Grove City (15-5) on Saturday at 11 a.m. The game will be played in Owings Mills, Md. on the campus of Stevenson. Second-seeded Stevenson (8-7-2) will take on third-seeded Chatham (11-5-2) in the other first round game, with the winners set to clash on Sunday afternoon. The four regional winners will then meet the following weekend.

In volleyball, Marymount was named the top overall seed of the 16-team tournament and will host a four-team regional on Wednesday. The Saints (23-5) will face No. 4 Penn State Altoona (13-13) at 4 p.m., with No. 2 Lebanon Valley (21-10) facing off against No. 3 Rutgers-Camden (16-5) in the other contest at Marymount at 7 p.m. 

The tournament will feature four separate regions, with regional winners advancing to the quarterfinals on Saturday.

In men's soccer, Penn State Harrisburg (11-8) was selected as the No. 3 seed in Region 4 and will meet No. 2 seed Penn State Altoona (11-7-1) on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Alfred University. 

The other matchup in Region 4 features No. 1 Alfred (8-7-2) vs. No. 4 Cobleskill (8-8-2) at 5 p.m. The regional winner will advance to the championship weekend on Nov. 19-20.
