Salisbury University Captures 2006-07 Capital Athletic Conference All-Sports Award

Salisbury University has captured their second consecutive Capital Athletic Conference All-Sports Award, given annually to the top all-around athletic program in the conference over the course of the academic year. The Sea Gulls, who have now won the award five times overall, won nine of the league's 18 sport championships this year and finished with 215.2 total points, 26.1 points ahead of second-place Mary Washington, who finished with 189.1 points on the strength of winning six conference championships during the year. York (Pa.) narrowly edged out Catholic University for third place, with the Spartans surpassing the Cardinals by just 2.7 total points, 159.6 to 156.9 points, respectively.

 

2006-07 CAC ALL-SPORTS AWARD RELEASE
