Salisbury junior CORY BEEBE (Medina, Ohio/Cloverleaf) and Mary Washington senior MAE WINCHESTER (Yorktown, Va./Yorktown) were selected as the CAC Track & Field Athletes of the Week for April 28, 2009.

MEN'S TRACK & FIELD

Salisbury junior CORY BEEBE (Medina, Ohio/Cloverleaf) was named the CAC Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week after posting the fastest time in NCAA Division III this season with a 52.60 time in the 400-meter hurdles at the Penn Relays. In finishing 13th overall out of 48 runners in the event, Beebe automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships.

WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD

Mary Washington senior MAE WINCHESTER (Yorktown, Va./Yorktown) was named the CAC Women's Track & Field Athlete Of The Week after improving her NCAA provisional qualifying time in the 400 hurdles last week with a 1:02.15 performance at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa.
