FREDERICKSBURG, Va. --- Four CAC cross country teams competed this past week, with weekly honors given to Kara Taylor of St. Mary's and Robert Romano of Frostburg State.

CAC Players of the Week

Sept. 3 - 9

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

Robert Romano | Frostburg State | Sr. 

Great Mills, Md. | Great Mills

Romano helped Frostburg State to the team title of the Westmoreland CCC Wolfpack Invitational. Romano won the 5k race for the third time in his career after he crossed the finish line in 16:31.7. He finished over 30 seconds ahead of the second-place runner.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

Kara Taylor | St. Mary's | So. 

Ellicott City, Md. | Centennial

Taylor won the Green Terror 5k hosted by McDaniel, crossing the line in 22:00.00. Her time was more than 42 seconds faster than the second-place finisher.
