FREDERICKSBURG, Va. --- Babson junior Chris Bornhorst has been honored as the first CAC Men's Golfer of the Week of the 2018-19 school year. Babson is in its first year of men's golf associate membership in the CAC. See below for more information about the weekly award winner.

Bornhorst has put together a pair of strong performances to begin the year, coming in second at Trinity's Bill Detrick Invitational and finishing in a tie for 14th place at Middlebury's Duke Nelson Invitational. He posted rounds of 71-72 for a 1-under total of 143 at Trinity and followed it up with a pair of 74s at Middlebury to finish at 6-over for the weekend. Bornhorst owns a 72.75 stroke average and has helped Babson to a pair of top-five finishes over the first two weekends of the year.
