Bio

Melanie Robotham joined the conference office staff in February 2023 as Assistant Commissioner of the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C). 

Robotham arrived at the C2C following a 17-year stint at the Lone Star Conference in Division II. She started as Director of Media Relations in 2006, added the title of Assistant Commissioner prior to the 2010-11 academic year, and was named Associate Commissioner for Championships and Communications in September 2021.
 
Robotham became the league's fourth full-time media relations director since the conference office was established in 1996. Before joining the conference staff, Robotham was the sports information director at Texas Woman's University for two years.
 
She oversaw all facets of communications for the NCAA Division II conference, including maintenance of the LSC official website, and social media accounts.
 
Robotham administered several conference championships including the league’s 16-team basketball tournament played at a neutral site, volleyball, golf, softball, cross country, and track and field.
 
She organized the annual LSC Women’s Workshop, which provides a professional development opportunity for women in the league.
 
Robotham served on the national committee for women's golf after a four-year term on the volleyball committee, and has been on the women’s golf, softball and volleyball regional advisory committees previously.  In addition, she has served as the NCAA site representative at several regionals (women's basketball, women's golf, volleyball and softball).
 
She led efforts to redesign the LSC website three times, including the addition of a live scoreboard and RSS content. She moved LSC awards balloting and voting to an online process as well.
 
Robotham managed production of online video coverage for the LSC Championships and other live events, while improving publicity efforts, including photographic coverage of the league championships and logos designed specifically for each event. In addition, she coordinated the preseason media days for football and basketball.
 
She worked in college athletics since 1998, including stops at Division I Arkansas and Division II South Dakota and Texas Woman's.
 
Robotham played softball at Nebraska-Kearney and South Dakota and earned a bachelor's degree in 2001 and a master's degree in 2003 at USD.
