Nine Capital Athletic Conference baseball players, representing playoff champion Frostburg State, regular-season champion (and Div. III World Series participant) Salisbury, Mary Washington and Wesley, were named to the 2011 American Baseball Coaches Association all-region teams.

Two Frostburg State players were named to the All-Mid-Atlantic region team - senior first-team pitcher Greg Ross and senior second baseman Matt Greene, who was a third-team all-region pick.

Salisbury senior pitcher Chris Greiner, who was picked as the South Region Pitcher of the Year, was the only CAC player on the South region first team.

Second-team All-South region honorees included Salisbury senior pitcher Dustin Herbert, Salisbury senior third baseman Brian Green, Mary Washington senior second baseman Eric Rehbein and Wesley junior shortstop Rob Benedict.

Mary Washington senior outfielder Jackson Clement and Wesley junior pitcher D.J. Keckler were honored as third-team All-South Region players.
