Wesley Baseball Stops St. Mary's Sunday, 10-7; Wolverines Seeded Third In CAC Playoffs
Wesley scored seven runs in the bottom of the first inning and held on for a 10-7 victory over St. Mary's in the final CAC regular-season game of the season.
The win lifts Wesley into the third seed for the conference playoffs, followed by Frostburg State (which tied for third place in the standings), York and SMC.
Tuesday's first-round playoff pairings:
#6 St. Mary's at #1 Salisbury, 3:30 p.m.
#5 York at #2 Mary Washington, 3:30 p.m.
#4 Frostburg State at #3 Wesley
All six teams then advance to Salisbury Friday to play the second-round of the double-elimination tournament.
