Top Three Seeds All Defend Home Field In Opening Round Of 2013 CAC Baseball Playoffs
The top three seeds in the 2013 CAC baseball playoffs - Salisbury, Mary Washington and Wesley - were all victorious Tuesday in the opening round of the tournament.
Seven players recorded multiple hits and senior right-hander Andrew Levy threw eight innings, allowing two runs and one walk, as the fourth-ranked and top-seeded Salisbury defeated sixth seed St. Mary's.
Senior lefty Torey Mancari scattered six hits in 7.2 innings, striking out six, to lead second-seeded Mary Washington baseball team to a 4-1 win over fifth-seeded York.
Corey Jefferson slugged a home run and drove in two runs while Jordan Lozzi threw seven innings to lead the third-seeded Wesley to a 7-5 victory over fourth-seeded Frostburg State.

The remainder of the tournament will be played at Salisbury, starting with Game 7 at 9 a.m. Saturday.
