To be eligible for nomination, a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.30 grade-point average and be a starter or key reserve on his team. Levy carries a 3.52 cumulative GPA in accounting and Griffith has a 3.37 GPA in business.

Levy, a Hampstead, Md., native, is 9-0 with a 2.67 ERA in 14 games this season. He has struck out 56 and walked 12 in 84 1/3 innings and is currently fourth nationally in wins, while sitting second in starts.

Griffith, from Federalsburg, Md., leads Salisbury batting .403 (52-for-129) with 14 doubles, a .581 slugging percentage and .509 on-base percentage in 37 games.

As academic all-district selections, both Levy and Griffith are now eligible for Capital One Academic All-America status, which will be announced at a later date.

Salisbury (30-7), which won its 11th Capital Athletic Conference championship April 21 over York (Pa.) College, will be making its 19th NCAA tournament appearance. The bracket will be announced May 12.
