Steel led the way as an ABCA Second Team All-America pick, while Herr and Hayman landed on the third team.

Steel, the Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Year, hit over .400 throughout the year, and his slash line, .427/.521/.745, ranked among the top six in program histor in all three categories. His .427 batting average currently ranks 35th nationally, and is fifth among players in the South Region; the on-base percentage mark of .521 is tied for the third best mark in program history, ranks ninth nationally. Overall, Steel finished with 117 total bases, ranked tenth nationally.

The senior shortstop from Mechanicsville, Va. ranks 12th nationally in home runs after breaking out in a big way as a senior with 10 long balls. He wrapped up his career at CNU among the all-time leaders in every offensive category, including the all-time leader in several. He owns the all-time doubles mark (52), as well as the games played and games started record, at 172 straight.

Herr earned third team honors at catcher as he hit .376 with a conference-leading 55 RBI, 42 runs scored, 16 doubles, and 6 home runs. He boasted a .567 slugging percentage and a .413 on-base percentage. Defensively, Herr had a .983 fielding percentage as he threw out 14 runners attempting to steal during the year. He ranks seventh in all of Division III baseball in RBI and also stole 11 bases for the Green and White this spring.

Hayman has been the table setter for the Sea Gull offense, leading the team with a .425 average this season. Currently, that mark is the ninth-best season average in program history. The Wilmington, Del., product has scored a team-high 55 runs and leads the squad with 28 stolen bases. Each of those totals rank Hayman in the top 30 among Division III players.
