ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Teams

Salisbury senior pitcher Connor Reeves collected his second Regional Pitcher of the Year award of 2018, this time being named the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings South Pitcher of the Year to highlight a group of 13 CAC players on the all-region squad. 

Christopher Newport earned a CAC-best four spots on the All-South Region team, led by CAC Player of the Year and third baseman Seth Woodard on the first team. Designated hitter Brandon Ginch collected second team accolades, with pitchers Thomas Packert and Joe Burris securing third-team nods. 

Reeves, who was also named the D3baseball.com All-South Region Pitcher of the Year on Monday, led a contingent of three Sea Gulls on the All-South Region squad. Reeves was a first-team selection, while third baseman Jack Barry and outfielder Justin Meekins nabbed second team recognition. 

York landed a pair of spots on the All-South team, led by outfielder Grant Oberholtzer on the first team. Fellow outfielder Seth Brosius collected second team honors for the Spartans. 

Wesley shortstop Chris Seibert earned first-team all-region laurels, Frostburg State pitcher Greg Schneider landed on the second team, and Marymount second baseman Connor Hall received third team recognition. 

Penn State Harrisburg outfielder Bret Williams was named to the Mid-Atlantic All-Region first team.
