In the final game of the CAC regular season, Frostburg State survived Southern Virginia by a 6-5 margin to finalize the seeding in the upcoming 2019 CAC Baseball Tournament.

Both No. 4 Penn State Harrisburg and No. 6 Southern Virginia will head to top-seeded Salisbury for a double-elimination pod, beginning Friday. 

The other three-team pod will be hosted by second-seeded Christopher Newport and includes No. 3 York (Pa.) and No. 5 Mary Washington. 

The CAC Tournament will feature the same format that debuted last season, with the winners of the opening weekend pods (May 3-4) meeting in a best-of-three championship series on May 10-11 at the highest remaining seed's home field. 

Opening-round contests will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, with No. 4 Penn State Harrisburg vs. No. 6 Southern Virginia in Salisbury, Md., and No. 3 York (Pa.) vs. No. 5 Mary Washington in Newport News, Va.
