Christopher Newport and Penn State Harrisburg both conquered their respective pods and have advanced to the 2019 CAC Baseball Tournament Championship Series.

Heading into Saturday action, Penn State Harrisburg needed one win to advance to the CAC Championship. However, top-seed Salisbury posted a 26-9 victory in the first game on Saturday to force a winner-take-all finale. The Penn State Harrisburg Lions proceeded to post a 10-5 victory to knock off the Sea Gulls.

In Pod B action, No. 2 seed Christopher Newport finished off No. 5 Mary Washington by an 11-4 margin on Saturday to advance to the conference finals.

The CAC Baseball Championship Best-of-Three Series schedule has been moved up and will commence Thursday, May 9th with a contest beginning at 3:30 p.m. hosted by Christopher Newport University. This move was made to avoid conflict with commencement ceremonies taking place on Saturday on the campus of CNU.
