The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 10th week of the 2025 baseball season. Mary Washington's Bobby Ayscue earned C2C Player of the Week acclaim, while the Eagles Matthew Boyd took home C2C Pitcher of the Week honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Bobby Ayscue, Mary Washington

Mary Washington senior Bobby Ayscue had the best performance in a 5-0 victory over Christopher Newport. Ayscue recorded hits in all three at-bats, while walking once. In the first inning, Ayscue walked, then in the third, he singled through the left side. In the fifth, Ayscue pushed the lead to 5-0 with a two-run homer -- his fourth of the year. And finally in the eighth, Ayscue singled to left field for his third hit of the afternoon.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Matthew Boyd, Mary Washington

Mary Washington junior Matthew Boyd was dominant over Christopher Newport's high-powered offense. Against the Captains, Boyd held CNU to just one hit over five innings while striking out five. The junior, in his first start as an Eagles, yielded no runs and just one walk as well, turning in one of the best efforts by a UMW pitcher this season.

PLAYER: Dylan Winebrenner, Salisbury

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Salisbury's Dylan Winebrenner slashed .364/.500/1.182 with three home runs, three RBIs, and five runs scored over the Sea Gulls' three games for the week. All three round-trippers came in Saturday's doubleheader against Eastern Connecticut State and covered all three fields: a line drive over the right field fence in the first game, then line drives to left and halfway up the batter's eye in center in the second.
