The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 12th week of the 2025 baseball season. Mary Washington's Oliver Martin was tabbed C2C Player of the Week, while the Eagles Matthew Boyd earned C2C Pitcher of the Week honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Oliver Martin, Mary Washington

Mary Washington sophomore Oliver Martin came away with a 1-for-2 performance in the Eagles' 4-3 victory on Saturday afternoon. Martin started the offense with an RBI single that snuck through the right side that cut into the Sea Gulls lead, 2-1. And in the fifth inning, Martin started the Eagles' game-tying rally after reaching on a hit-by-pitch, then scoring UMW's first of two runs to tie the score at three apiece.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Matthew Boyd, Mary Washington

Mary Washington junior Matthew Boyd tossed six innings of three-run ball in the Eagles' 4-3 win over No. 9 Salisbury on Saturday afternoon. Boyd worked around six hits and one walk to hold the powerful Sea Gulls offense at bay, setting UMW up for its victory. Boyd yielded two runs in the first before responding with zeros in the second through fourth before yielding a run in the fifth. The Eagles tied the score at three in the bottom of the fifth before Boyd tossed a scoreless sixth, setting up UMW's offense to take the lead for good in the bottom half of the inning. With the win, Boyd moved to 3-0 with an ERA of 3.00 this spring.

PLAYER: Andrew Kell, Salisbury

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Salisbury's Andrew Kell slashed .500/.750/1.500 with a double, homer, three runs, and two RBIs during the Sea Gulls' 1-1 week. He reached base multiple times in both games, homering against Hood on Tuesday.
