Four Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) field hockey players were named All-Americans by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). Salisbury senior defender Jillian Hughes and her teammate senior midfielder Arielle Johnston both earned first-team accolades, while Salisbury junior goalkeeper Dom Farrace collected second team recognition for the Sea Gulls. Christopher Newport senior midfielder Rachel Cooke rounded out the conference contingent as she landed on the third team.

Johnston, the CAC Player of the Year, tied for the CAC lead with 10 assists, second in points with 34 and tied for third in the league with 13 goals.

Hughes, the CAC Defensive Player of the Year, recorded a goal, an assist and a defensive save during her senior campaign.

Farrace ranked second in the nation in goals-against average (0.54) and ranked 41st in the country in save percentage (.784).

A dominant force on the squad's midfield unit throughout her tenure, Cooke punctuated her time in Newport News with a sensational senior season. Cooke started all 19 games while anchoring the midfield. During the year, the squad posted five shutouts and held the opposition to a miniscule .109 shooting percentage, which ranked as the top mark in the CAC.
