2019 Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-Region Teams

Thirteen field hockey student-athletes from the Capital Athletic Conference were selected to the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-South Region team. The CAC compiled six first-team honorees along with seven second team selections as Christopher Newport and Salisbury collected five selections each.

Christopher Newport was represented by a pair of first teamers as CAC Rookie of the Year Abby Asuncion and senior Rachel Cooke earned all-region designation. The Captains also placed seniors Courtnie Greene and Bailey Miller along with junior Courtney Fiest on the second team.

Salisbury recorded a conference-high four first-team honorees as they earned five all-region selections. Seniors Lindsey Elgin, CAC Defensive Player of the Year Jillian Hughes and CAC Player of the Year Arielle Johnston along with junior Dom Farrace all earned first-team accolades, while junior Camryn Dennis landed on second team. 

York also landed a pair on the all-region team, headlined by junior midfielder Dana Meehling who collected second-team recognition for the Spartans for the second straight season. Her Spartan teammate senior Amanda Boclair also garnered second-team honors.

Mary Washington had one top performer earn all-region recognition. Senior forward/midfield Lauren Hopkins nabbed her second consecutive second-team honor for the Eagles.
