Wesley's Paul Reynolds And St. Mary's Nick LaGuerre Named To NABC All-Region Team; SMC's Chris Harney Named Regional Coach Of The Year
Wesley senior guard Paul Reynolds, the 2013 CAC Men's Basketball Player of the Year, along with sophomore guard Nick LaGuerre and coach Chris Harney from St. Mary's, all earned regional recognition by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Reynolds earned first-team Middle Atlantic All-Region recognition while LaGuerre was picked by the coaches as a second-team all-region player.
Harney, who along with LaGuerre has led the Seahawks into the Elite 8 Round of the 2013 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament with a school-record 27 wins this season, was named the Regional Coach of the Year.
The 9th-ranked Seahawks will face Mary Hardin Baylor Friday in Salem, Va., in the NCAA quarterfinal round, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
