The postseason accolades continue to roll in for Wesley senior center David Langan, who was honored as an All-American by both D3hoops.com and DIII News. Christopher Newport senior Tra Benefield also secured All-America recognition, earning honorable mention honors from DIII News. 

Langan was named to the D3hoops.com third team, and earned fifth team accolades from DIII News. He becomes just the third Wolverine in program history to earn All-America honors. 

The CAC Player of the Year, Langan was also honored as a D3hoops.com first team All-Region selection and a first team NABC All-Region choice.  

In his final collegiate season, Langan led the CAC in rebounding (10.9), field goal percentage (62.6%), double-doubles (15) and blocks (1.9) while also ranking third with 16.8 points per game. Langan, who was also a two-time first team All-Conference selection, will graduate as the program's all-time leader with 831 rebounds while ranking ninth in points (1,100), second in field goal percentage (57.5%) and third in blocks (124).

Langan led Wesley College (23-4) to its finest season in its history with a program-record 23 wins and its first-ever NCAA Tournament victory. 

Benefield claimed honorable mention All-America recognition from DIII News after leading the Captains to a 19-9 record and a trip to the CAC Championship game in the Captains first year in the conference.

A D3hoops.com third team All-Region pick and first team All-CAC selection, Benefield averaged 17.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. He completed his CNU career with 1,794 points and 749 rebounds in 106 career games. Benefield is fifth on the school's all-time scoring list and eighth in all-time rebounds.
