Wesley College was ranked No. 12 in NCAA Division III in the final Golfstat team rankings of 2008.

The Wolverines surged up the rankings after placing seventh at the NCAA Division III Championships last week at the Chateau Elan Resort in Braselton, Georgia.  Stellar performances at the championships earned Will Scarborough All-American First Team honors and he and Mike Rushin were both named to the All-Mid-Atlantic Region Team.

Scarborough finished tied for third at the NCAAs, while Rushin tied for 37th.

National champion St. John's (Minn.) was No. 1 in the final Golfstat rankings, followed by Redlands and Methodist, respectively.  Huntingdon was fourth with St. John Fisher rounding out the top five.  In order, Skidmore, Oglethorpe, Texas-Tyler, CSU-East Bay and La Verne completed the top 10.  Guilford was ranked 11th, the only other team to finish ahead of Wesley.
