CAC Joins Wesley College In Mourning The Loss Of Student-Athlete Andrew Guyer

Wesley College student-athlete Andrew Geyer passed away over the weekend when he was struck by a suspected drunk driver while visiting West Virginia University.

Andrew, a Milford, Delaware native and a graduate of Milford High School, was a stand out both in the classroom and on the golf course.  The senior had a 3.93 grade point average in political science and was a member of Wesley's Honors Program.  He had posted a 4.0 GPA in all but two semesters and was named to the 2008 ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District team and was a member of the Capital Athletic Conference All-Academic team.

On the golf course, Andrew was named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference First Team in 2008 after finishing fifth at the conference championships.  He also helped the Wolverines finish seventh at the NCAA Division III Championships that spring.

Arrangements will be shared with the College community as they become available. Please keep Andrew's family in your thoughts and prayers.
