Stevenson freshman AL EL KORDI (Vienna, Va./James Madison) was selected as the CAC Golfer of the Week after averaging 76.3 in three rounds last week. His best outing was a fifth-place finish in the Roanoke Invitational, where he carded a two-day total of 151 (74, 77).

Marymount senior PETER JOHNS (Potomac, Va./Churchill) and Stevenson freshman SEAN CAVANAUGH (Baltimore, Md./Calvert Hall) were selected as the CAC Co-Golfers of the Week after tying for 10th place individually at Monday’s Lebanon Valley Invitational. Cavanaugh carded a five-over-par 77 to lead the Mustangs to fifth place in the team standings, just two shots ahead of Marymount. Johns matched Cavanaugh’s total to tie for 10th place, just four strokes off the medalist’ pace.
York's Kevin Long Named CAC Golfer Of The Week

York sophomore KEVIN LONG (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) was selected as the CAC Golfer of the Week after winning medalist honors at the 2012 York College Spartan Spring Invitational. Long carded an even-par 72 to win the individual title by two shots and help the Spartans win the team crown by one stroke vs. Messiah.

Stevenson sophomore BEN LUKEHART (Bel Air, Md./Mount Carmel) was selected as the CAC Golfer of the Week after winning medalist honors at the Elizabethtown Blue Jay Invitational, leading the Mustangs to the team title. Lukehart, the 2011 CAC Player and Rookie of the Year, carded a two-under-par 69 on the Hershey (Pa.) Country Club East Course, becoming just the fifth player in CAC history to break 70 (and the third this season). Lukehart’s scored tied a nine-year old team record for the Mustangs.
Marymount Junior John Goulding Named CAC Golfer Of The Week

Marymount junior JOHN GOULDING was selected as the CAC Golfer of the Week after winning medalist honors at the Gettysburg Fall Invitational, leading the Saints to the team title. Goulding, who also placed third in the Lebanon Valley Invitational this week, carded a school-record 69 at The Bridges G.C. in Abbottstown, Pa., becoming just the fourth player in CAC history to break 70. He also helped the Saints register a 310 team score, which captured the team trophy and was the seventh-best mark in team history.

Wesley freshman CODY PESTUN (Damascus, Md./Damascus) was tabbed as the CAC Golfer of the Week carding consecutive rounds of 73 to tie for 10th place overall in the Rehoboth Beach Fall Invitational, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. In the nine-team tournament, which included six NCAA Division I programs, Pestun was the top Division III finisher with a 36-hole total of four-over-par 146.
