York 2nd, Marymount 9th In Fall Season-Opening Golf Tournament At Messiah
Marymount's Peter Johns and York's David Boslough each carded a two-over-par 74 to tie for third place individually, leading their respective teams at the Messiah Falcons Classic.
Boslough, supported by Kevin Long's tie for 11th place (76), helped the Spartans finish second in the 17-team tournament. Franklin & Marshall captured top honors with an 18-over-par 306 team score, followed by York (310) and Penn State Harrisburg (314).
Johns, a returning CAC all-star, helped Marymount finish ninth in the team standings with a 35-over-par 323. The Saints, with Brad Johnson (81) tying for 24th place, were just four shots from sixth place in the team standings.
