York Sophomore Tyler Newton Earns CAC Golfer of the Week Honors

York sophomore Tyler Newton earned CAC Golfer of the Week honors after winning the Scarlet Consolation Tournament at the Camp Lejeune Marine Championship. Newton fired a three-day total of two-over par 214 (67-76-71) to edge out the second-place finisher by two strokes among 70 golfers in Jacksonville, N.C.
York Freshman Morgan Uhlick Tabbed as CAC Golfer of the Week

York freshman Morgan Uhlick was tabbed as the CAC Golfer of the Week after placing in a tie for fourth at the McDaniel Spring Invitational last weekend. Uhlick started to the two-day tournament at the Bridges Golf Club with a four-over-par 76 on Saturday, before carding a six-over 78 on Sunday for a two-day total of 154. He finished four strokes out of the first place in the 92-player field.
Christopher Newport Sophomore David Rabil Selected as CAC Golfer of the Week

Christopher Newport sophomore David Rabil was selected as the CAC Golfer of the Week for the second time this year after capturing his first career victory at the Callaway Gardens Invitational on March 6-7. Rabil tied for top honors at the tournament with a one-over par 145 (75-70). He led the field with 10 birdies in the 36-hole event. Last weekend, Rabil placed 18th at the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate, finishing with a five-over 221 (74-69-78) including his teambest sixth round of par or lower this season. He also lowered his season stroke average to 72.3.

Christopher Newport senior Tyler Bennett earned CAC Golfer of the Week accolades after winning the Bay Creek Invitational with a two-under par 142 (69-73) last week. Bennett registered his first career under-par round in the first round, posting a three-under 69. His efforts helped lead CNU to a repeat win at Bay Creek with a +21 (295-302=597). Bennett carded nine birdies in the 36-hole event.
Penn State Harrisburg Junior Keith Miller Named CAC Golfer of the Week

Penn State Harrisburg junior Keith Miller was selected as the CAC Golfer of the Week after placing second individually and leading the Lions to the team title at the Penn State Harrisburg Invitational. Miller shot a one-under (-1) par 143 (73-70) to claim second place in a field of 66 golfers, finishing behind only Gettysburg's Danny Harcourt (-4). The Lions won the 13-team tournament with a two-day total of 593, defeating Franklin & Marshall by five strokes.
