York's Leebrick, Boslough Sweep All-CAC Men's Golf Major Awards
York (Pa.) and Babson both registered a conference-leading three golfers on the 2019 All-CAC Men's Golf Teams as the York Spartans swept the major awards to highlight the all-conference honors from this year's championship tournament held April 18-20 at the Golden Horseshoe Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
York freshman Casey Leebrick became the fourth freshmen in conference history to claim both Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year honors after securing the individual title. Leebrick carded a 54-hole total of 4-over-par 217 to capture a three-stroke victory.
Joining Leebrick on the All-CAC first team was Southern Virginia's Nathan Ouimette (2nd), Mary Washington's Phillip Manceri (3rd) & Sebastien Bonte (t-6), Christopher Newport's David Rabil (t-4), and Babson's Niko Gianelos (t-4) & Burt Gesner (t-6).
The All-CAC Second Team honorees included: York's Luke Fayocavitz (10th) & Tyler Newton (t-11), CNU's Kevin Quinto (8th), Babon's Riley Whitham (9th) and UMW's Jason Guintu (t-11).
York head coach David Boslough was selected CAC Men's Golf Coach of the Year following a vote conducted by his peers as he led the Spartans to their third CAC men's golf championship.
