Mary Washington Remains Atop Crowded 2019 CAC Men's Golf Championship Leaderboard

The 2019 CAC Men's Golf Championship continued on Friday, April 19 at the Golden Horseshoe Resort's Gold Course, par 71 layout in Williamsburg, Va.

Mary Washington pushed its lead to four strokes following a round of 296 (+12) to sit at +39 for the event. UMW was led by Sebastien Bonte who carded a one-under par 70 to sit solo fourth, while his teammate Phillip Manceri fired an even-par 72 and in a tie-for-fourth position after 36 holes.

Christopher Newport resides in second after two rounds of play at +44 for the tournament after a second round 297 (+13). The Captains earned the round of the day from Kevin Quinto who recorded a 2-under par 69 to push him into a tie for fourth place. Thursday's overnight leader David Rabil carded 76 and is tied with Quinto at 8-over par for the event.

Casey Leebrick leads the York College in third place at +45 after he tallied an even-par round of 71. The Spartans posted 299 (+15) on a day which saw a 45-minute weather delay on the back nine. 

Babson College sits fourth after a second round 300 (+16) thanks to an even-par round of 72 from Niko Gianelos who is in second place three strokes behind Leebrick entering the final round. 

Southern Virginia's Nathan Outimette sits alone in third place after posting a second round 1-under par 70. The Knights sit fifth in the team standings at +91 overall.

Penn State Harrisburg (+137) and New Jersey City (+157) round of the team standings after 36 holes of competititon. The final round will take place Saturday at 7:30 a.m. on No. 10 and 7:40 a.m. on No. 1
