The fall golf season is winding down with only a few tournaments left on the slate, while the swimming campaign is just getting started with four of the five CAC teams opening up their seasons this past weekend. This week's CAC weekly awards were given to Carson Castelli of Christopher Newport men's golf, Erica Whitehouse of Christopher Newport women's golf, Jeffrey Leckrone of Mary Washington men's swimming, and Justine Wantz of York women's swimming.

Cross country enters its home stretch heading towards the CAC Championships on Oct. 27, while split-season sports golf and tennis are nearing the conclusion of their fall campaigns as we approach mid-October. This week's weekly awards were given to Robert Romano of Frostburg State men's cross country, Logan Funk of Christopher Newport women's cross country, Tyler Newton of York men's golf, Jordan Koller of York women's golf, Paul Monson of Southern Virginia men's tennis, and Allison Paul of Frostburg State women's tennis.

All fall and split season sports are now underway, with this week's reports featuring the first tennis and women's golf athletes of the week of the fall 2018 season. Weekly honors were awarded to Ray Smith of York men's cross country, Emily Knerr of Mary Washington women's cross country, Casey Leebrick of York men's golf, Erica Whitehouse of Christopher Newport women's golf, Mason Kolls of Christopher Newport men's tennis, and Johanna Ranta-aho of Christopher Newport women's tennis.
Babson's Bornhorst Named CAC Men's Golfer of the Week

Babson junior Chris Bornhorst has been honored as the first CAC Men's Golfer of the Week of the 2018-19 school year. Babson is in its first year of men's golf associate membership in the CAC.
