Christopher Newport sophomore David Rabil was selected as the CAC Golfer of the Week for the second time this year after capturing his first career victory at the Callaway Gardens Invitational on March 6-7. Rabil tied for top honors at the tournament with a one-over par 145 (75-70). He led the field with 10 birdies in the 36-hole event. Last weekend, Rabil placed 18th at the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate, finishing with a five-over 221 (74-69-78) including his teambest sixth round of par or lower this season. He also lowered his season stroke average to 72.3.
