Wesley's Kyle Long And Salisbury's Kyle Simmons Pick Up CAC Weekly Men's Soccer Recognition

Wesley senior midfielder KYLE LONG (Delaware, Ohio/Buckeye) was selected as the CAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week while Salisbury junior defender KYLE SIMMONS (Pasadena, Md./Northeast) was picked as the CAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 6, 2011. Long contributed seven points on three goals and an assist in helping the Wolverines to a 2-0-1 start. In addition to contributing in wins over CCNY and Penn State-Berks, Long scored Wesley’s lone goal in a draw against 18th-ranked Johns Hopkins and earned all-tournament team recognition at the Goucher Classic. Simmons was named Tournament MVP in leading the Salisbury defense, which surrendered just 11 shots - including only five on goal - in two games to earn the team co-championship at the Elmer Lord Classic.
