York And Mary Washington Both Post Overtime Road Wins To Advance To CAC Men's Soccer Championship Game

Third-seeded York and fifth-seeded Mary Washington both needed overtime Thursday, but both emerged victorious on the road to qualify for Saturday's CAC Men's Soccer Championship Game.

In a matinee at Salisbury, UMW's David Heller scored the only goal of the match in the 106th minute to lift the fifth-seeded Eagles past the top-seeded Sea Gulls and into the title game.

And in the cold autumn evening in Frostburg, York's Brendan Saberton found the back of the net in the 104th minute, after FSU scored twice in the last 17 minutes to force extra time, to advance the three-time defending champion Spartans, who will host UMW in the championship game
