Five CAC Women's Soccer Teams, Two Men's Squads Earn NSCAA 2014-15 Team Academic Award

Women's Academic Award Winners | Men's Academic Award Winners 

Five CAC women's soccer teams and two men's squads were recognized with the National Soccer Coaches of America (NSCAA) College Team Academic Award for the 2014-15 academic year. Teams with a combined grade point average of 3.0 or higher earn the honor. 

On the women's side, St. Mary's (3.48 GPA), Salisbury (3.42), Frostburg State (3.37 GPA), York (3.33 GPA), and Mary Washington (3.12 GPA) were recipients of the award. 

For the men, Salisbury (3.04 GPA) and St. Mary's (3.02 GPA) earned the team accolade. 

Salisbury and St. Mary's were two of just 217 institutions to have both their men's and women's programs receive the honor. 

A total of 870 soccer teams (308 men, 560 women) were honored as Team Academic Award winners for their work in the classroom last year.
