Eight CAC Standouts Earn United Soccer Coaches All-South Atlantic Region Recognition

2018 United Soccer Coaches Men's All-South Atlantic Region Teams

Eight Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) men's soccer players have been named to the United Soccer Coaches All-South Atlantic Region Team, announced by organized on Monday evening. Mary Washington earned a conference-leading four spots in the all-region squad, while St. Mary's had two players honored, with Salisbury and York both represented by one all-region honoree. 

Mary Washington, which won the conference regular season and tournament titles, was led by senior Justin Carey on the all-region first team. Seniors Will DonohoeGary Foley and Ryan Van Maanen collected second team accolades for the Eagles. 

The St. Mary's duo of senior Juwan Kearson and junior Khalid Balogun were both represented the Seahawks on the all-region team for the second straight season, as both earned first-team recognition.

The conference was also represented by a pair of three-team honorees in York junior Brook Addisu and Salisbury junior Alex Eiben.
