York freshman Keven Stahl earned CAC Athlete of the Week honors for the fourth time this season after leading the Spartans to a 151-103 dual meet victory over Randolph-Macon. Stahl won the 1,000 and 500 freestyle events in the win. He won the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 9:51.65, and touched first in the 500 freestyle at 4:54.23. For the year, Stahl has 15 individual wins to pace the Spartans.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

Mary Washington, Salisbury and York opened the 2018 portion of their schedules last week ... Frostburg State will return to the pool this Saturday at York (Pa.) at 1:00 p.m. ... Mary Washington defeated Salisbury 133-72 on Saturday, improving the Eagles to 5-0 overall in dual meets and 2-0 against CAC opponents ... Junior Richard Baker earned four first-place finishes during the Sea Gulls' first two meets of 2018. Individually, Baker took first in the 100 backstroke against both McDaniel and Mary Washington. He also anchored a pair of relay wins in the 400 freestyle vs. McDaniel and the 200 freestyle vs. UMW.
