York sophomore Keven Stahl had another big week in leading the Spartans to a second place finish at the Washington & Lee Invitational this past weekend. Stahl earned a trio of individual wins for the Spartans. He won the 200 IM in a time of 1:54.53. Stahl touched the wall first in the 400 IM with a time of 4:08.21. He finished off the weekend with a win in the 1650 free with a pool-record time of 16:24.40. Stahl also swam the lead off leg of two second place relay teams, the 400 medley relay and the 800 freestyle relay. Stahl's time in the 200 IM is now the top mark in the CAC in the event. For the year, Stahl has 11 individual wins in four meets for the year.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

Four CAC programs were in action last week...Salisbury's Richard Baker earned one individual and one relay victory in Salisbury's meet against Widener University on Saturday. His individual victory came in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 55.57 seconds. He was also part of the 200-yard medley relay team that finished first with a time of 1:41.76...Mary Washington's Jeff Leckrone continued to amass race wins at the Gettysburg College Invitational, winning the 100 yard butterfly at 51.08 and the 200 yard breaststroke at 2:03.15, in a race he won by nearly five seconds. He has the fourth fastest time in the nation in the 200 breast and the eighth fastest in the 100 breast this season.
