FREDERICKBURG, Va. -- Salisbury senior Peter Moyer has earned CAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week honors on Jan. 22, 2019.

Salisbury senior Peter Moyer collected five individual victories in Salisbury's previous four meets, helping lead the team to a 3-1 record. The senior earned two first-place finishes against McDaniel, coming in the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle. He then placed first in the 100-meter freestyle against Virginia Wesleyan and collected his final two against Marymount in the 500-yard and 1,000-yard freestyle. Moyer was also a part of four relay victories, earning one in each of the four meets.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

Mary Washington's Austin Farrar won four different events in UMW's two dual meets over the past two Saturdays. On January 12 against Salisbury, Farrar took first in the 1000 yard freestyle at 10:14.24 as well as first in the 500 free at 4:54.63. Last Saturday against St. Mary's, Farrar took first place honors in the 200 freestyle at 1:45.69, and he then won the 400 IM at 4:12.10.
