Mary Washington's Leckrone & York's Stahl Both Two-Time All-Americans at NCAA Swimming Championships

GREENSBORO, NC – York College's Keven Stahl and Mary Washington's Jeffrey Leckrone both collected two All-American finishes at the 2019 NCAA Division III Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Stahl, who earned All-American honors with his 14th place finish on Wednesday in the 500 meter freestyle, picked up a second All-American finish as he placed 12th in the 1650 meter freestyle on Saturday at the final day of the championships.

Leckrone finished in fourth place in the 200 yard breaststroke. Leckrone, who was seeded second after the preliminary round in which he set a lifetime best and CAC and school record at 1:58.97, broke those marks again in the evening, swimming to a time of 1:58.89.

Leckrone finished sixth in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 54.74, after racing to a 54.66 in the morning - a swim that broke his lifetime best and school and conference record. Leckrone also placed 36th in the 100 yard butterfly. Leckrone, who was seeded 43rd, bettered his seed time by more than a second, with a time of 49.81. 

York junior Justine Wantz competed in three events finishing 60th in the 50 freestyle on Wednesday, 35th in the 100 backstroke on Friday and 25th in the 200 backstroke on Saturday.
