Frostburg State senior MIKE STEVENSON (Bowie, Md./Bowie) was named the CAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week after posting an undefeated record in four singles and four doubles matches last week. Stevenson, playing the No. 1 singles and doubles positions against CAC rivals Hood and York, helped the Bobcats earn a CAC post-season nod for the second-straight year.

Salisbury freshman DANIEL ALBERS (Denville, N.J./Morris Knolls) and St. Mary’s sophomore J. GUZZONE (Columbia, Md./Hammond) were named the CAC Men’s Tennis Co-Players of the Week after both went undefeated in sigles and doubles play last week.

Salisbury senior CURTIS QUANDT (Kent Island, Md./Kent Island) was named the CAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week after earning four wins in CAC team triumphs against Frostburg State and Stevenson. He paired with Nick Mancuso to post an 8-1 win in No. 3 doubles vs. Frostburg State and an 8-2 victory at No. 3 vs. Stevenson. In the No. 3 singles matches vs. both the Bobcats and Mustangs, Quandt gained straight-set victories, losing only six games in the four sets.
Mary Washington Sophomore Alex Blahkin Named CAC Men's Tennis Player Of The Week

Mary Washington sophomore ALEX BLAHKIN (Moscow, Russia/Saddlebrook Prep, Fla.) was named the CAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week after leading the Eagles to four wins last week, including an 8-1 decision over arch-rival Salisbury and a 9-0 victory over York Saturday. Blahkin topped Salisbury’s Daniel Barnas in the showdown at No. 1 singles and paired with Tyler Carey to win the No. 2 doubles match against the Gulls. He also picked up a pair of victories in the decision over the Spartans.
York Senior James Villari Selected As CAC Men's Tennis Player Of The Week

York senior JAMES VILLARI was named the CAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week after winning all three singles matches and posting a 2-0 doubles mark with Phillip Myers during a three-win week for the Spartans. He gained straight-sets singles victories at No. 5 singles in YCP wins over Penn State-Harrisburg and Gettysburg, followed by a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles in the Spartans win over Albright, improving his record to 5-2 this year.
St. Mary's Sophomore John Feighner Tabbed As CAC Men's Tennis Player Of The Week

St. Mary’s sophomore JOHN FEIGHNER (Laurel, Md./Atholton) was named the CAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week winning all four singles matches during the team’s Spring Break trip to Hilton Head, S.C. Feighner, who played the No. 5 position in wins over Nazareth, Gordon, FDU-Florham and Messiah, is 10-2 this season, 9-1 in dual matches. He is also 7-1 in doubles play this season and riding a seven match win streak.

St. Mary’s sophomore ANDREW GEAR (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) was named the CAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week after starting the season with a 9-1 singles record, including a 4-1 mark at the No. 1 position. He is also 5-2 at the No. 1 doubles position for the Seahawks, who boast a 5-1 record.
