Mary Washington freshman Matt Miles was tabbed as the CAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week aftering turning in an undefeated weekend as the 27th-ranked Eagles won two of three matches. Miles won at No. 3 singles against both No. 38 TCNJ, 6-4, 7-6, and No. 23 Swarthmore, 6-3, 6-7, 6-2. In doubles, he and Brandon Griffin won at the No. 1 spot with 8-6 scores against TCNJ and Swarthmore.

Christopher Newport junior Arttu Fiva was named CAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week after opening the season with a 5-1 singles record and 3-2 doubles mark in a pair of tournaments hosted by the Captains. Four of Fiva's singles victories came in straight sets, with the other coming against Division I Norfolk State's Nico Lluch (6-7 (5-7), 6-0, 10-6). He also teamed with doubles partner William Trang to take down Lluch and Antonio Pejic of Norfolk State, 9-7.
