Mary Washington senior Derek Hagino came away with two huge victories as #19 Mary Washington defeated Redlands and #11 Pomona Pitzer for the first time in nearly a decade last week. He was responsible for two points in the 5-4 win over Redlands, winning at six singles over Andrew Yip, 6-3, 6-0, and teamed with Ryland Byrd at two doubles to win, 8-4. In the 5-4 win over Pomona Pitzer, he picked up a thrilling three set win at five singles, 6-3, 5-7, 7-6, and teamed with Byrd for an 8-5 victory at two doubles.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

Salisbury' Alec Angradi picked up his second win of the season against a nationally-ranked single opponent this week. Angradi topped 50th-ranked Vishal Walia in Salisbury's 5-4 defeat against New York University coming back for a three-set win 0-6, 6-3, 6-4.
