St. Mary's Dan Swain And York's Tim Hartung Named To Capital One Academic All-District Track & Field Team
St. Mary's senior Dan Swain and York junior Tim Hartung were named to the 2013 Capital One Men's Academic All-District Track & Field Team.
Swain is a senior from Baltimore, Md., who boasts a 3.94 cumulative grade point average in mathematics and economics.
Hartung is a junior from Mohnton, Pa., with a 3.68 GPA in nursing.
To be eligible for Academic All-District consideration, a student-athlete must be a key varsity contributor, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standings at his/her current institution and be nominated by his/her sports information director.
As an All-District selection, Swain and Hartung are now eligible for selection to the Academic All-America Team, which will be announced in June.
