Four CAC Women's Track & Field Teams, 11 Individuals Earn USTFCCCA Academic Honors

Four CAC women's track & field teams and 11 total male and female student-athletes earned national All-Academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Christopher Newport, Frostburg State, Mary Washington and Salisbury women's teams were four of 170 women's squads honored as Division III All-Academic teams by the USTFCCCA. To receive the honor, teams must have a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 or higher.
CAC Women's Team GPA's Christopher Newport - 3.21 Salisbury - 3.20 Frostburg State - 3.15 Mary Washington - 3.13Eleven CAC student-athletes earned the distinction as USTFCCCA All-Academic individuals including six women and five men.
To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and have met either of the following athletic standards:
- Competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship
- Finished the regular season ranked in the national top 35 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 25 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org
