Eight CAC track & field/cross country student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)  Academic All-District teams, announced Thursday.

Academic All-District Men's and Women's Track & Field and Cross Country Teams have been released to recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

On the men's side, Frostburg State's J.R. Lowery and Collin Schultz, Christopher Newport's Zach Campbell and Robert Graham, and St. Mary's Matthew Flyr were honored.

On the women's side, Christopher Newport's Jennifer Westerholm, York's Alicia Dillman, and Frostburg State's Kayla Truesdel received the accolade.

Only first teams were chosen for at-large district recognition, so all honorees will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected in June.
