NCAA Outdoor Championship Results Through Day Two

Four CAC athletes earned All-America honors to highlight day two of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. 

Frostburg State's J.R. Lowery grabbed the top finish of the day, taking silver in the shot put with a mark of 17.56 meters to earn All-America status. 

Christopher Newport's Wesley Shrieves finished fourth in the high jump at 2.10 meters, while Hannah Shoemaker claimed eighth in the shot put at 13.95m to also secure All-America recognition for CNU with her top-eight placing. 

Salisbury senior also Meghan McGowan secured All-America honors with a seventh-place finish in the high jump at 1.66m. Also competing for SU was Eric Halton, who finished 11th in the 400 at 48.57. 

Wesley's Roland Attoh-Okine advanced to Saturday's finals in the 110 hurdles with a fifth-place prelim mark at 14.39 seconds. CNU's Jordan Roach finished 12th in the 110 hurdles at 14.71.

CNU's Briana Sutton narrowly missed out on All-America honors in the heptathlon, placing 10th with 4,524 points. The Captains' Zach Campbell finished 13th in the 800 at 1:52.09. 

Campbell and teammate Jeff Dover will compete in the 1500 meter finals on Saturday. Also competing on the third and final day of the championships for CNU will be Dominique Torres in the triple jump and Jonathan Graham in the pole vault. 

Other CAC competitions on action on Saturday include Wesley's Attoh-Okine in the 110 hurdles and the Wesley women's 4x400 relay of Elizsha Streeter, Quadira Minus, Briana Artis, and Angel Hall.
