Wesley's Thomas Kalieta Jr. and Roland Attoh-Okine advanced to the finals of their respective events to highlight day two action of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday in La Crosse, Wisc. 

Kalieta Jr. raced to seventh place in the preliminaries of the 400 meters, crossing in 47.47 to qualify for Saturday's finals. Attoh-Okine finished ninth in the 110 hurdles in 14.83 to also advance to Saturday's finals. 

In Friday's other events, Mary Washington's Daniel Forjan placed 10th in the shot put (15.97m) while Erin Andrewlevich took 10th in the 400 meters (57.06). 

In the women's 100-meter dash, Frostburg State's Kayla Truesdel finished 11th with a time of 12.57 seconds. 

Penn State Harrisburg's Rae Rae Taylor placed 12th in the heptathlon with a total of 4,240 points. Taylor's top performances in the field of 22 competitors came in the long jump (6th place), javelin (9th place) and 200 meters (10th place). 

Along with Attoh-Okine, Christopher Newport's Ryan Scott and Penn State Harrisburg's Jalil Clayton also competed in the 110 hurdles. Scott finished 13th with a time of 15.05 seconds, while Clayton took 16th at 15.24. 

CNU's Cullen Monahan crossed in 17th place in the 800 meters at 1:54.50.
