Results 

Five CAC athletes secured All-America honors on the second and final day of the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday in Birmingham, Ala. Christopher Newport's Jeff Dover led the way with a pair of All-America medals, including a runner-up finish, while CNU's Cullen Monahan collected a bronze medal. 

In the team standings, the Christopher Newport men finished eighth, the second-highest team finish at the indoor championships in CAC history. Salisbury placed seventh in 2016. 

Dover earned All-America placings in both the mile and the 3,000 meters on Saturday. He began the day with a silver-medal finish in the mile with a time of 4:10.85. He then capped off his busy championship weekend with a sixth-place mark in the 3,000 meters at 8:20.46. 

Monahan raced to a CAC-record time of 1:52.67 in the 800 meters to claim third place and All-America recognition. 

CNU's Hannah Shoemaker performed well in the shot put, taking sixth place with a season-best toss of 14.09 meters to collect All-America honors. 

CNU's Ryan Scott and Penn State Harrisburg's Ashley Williams each secured All-America awards with seventh-place finishes in their respective sprint events. Scott finished the 200 meters in 22.05, while Williams raced to a time of 9.24 in the 60 hurdles.
