Christopher Newport senior Grayson Reid was named the CAC Track Athlete of the Week after record-breaking performances at the CNU Holiday Open and an impressive finish in the mile at the Captains Invitational. At the CNU Holiday Open, Reid broke the conference and school record in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:17.49. Later, he returned to the track and established another school record in the 3,000 with an 8:25.50 clocking. His 5,000 time ranks first in Division III while his 3,000 time is second nationally. Last week, Reid notched a victory in the mile at the Captains Invitational with a time of 4:17.53, which places him sixth in the country,
