2006 Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country All-Conference Teams
ST. MARY’S CITY, MD - Salisbury University, the 2006 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) champion, and second-place Mary Washington both put six runners on the men’s cross country All-CAC teams as released today by the conference office. The Sea Gulls had four runners selected to the first team and two selections on the second team. Mary Washington finished with two on the first team and four on the second team. Mary Washington’s Frank DeVar was selected as the rookie of the Year while his teammate, Justin Kirk, was selected as the Runner of the Year. Salisbury head coach Jim Jones was chosen as the 2006 CAC Coach of the Year after leading his squad to their second consecutive conference title.
