Hood Coach Brent Ayer Named President of Road Runners Club of America for 2008-09

Brent Ayer, head coach of Hoods men and womens cross country and track and field teams, has been named president of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). Founded in 1958, the RRCA is a nonprofit organization comprised of over 700 running clubs across the country that promotes long distance running, both competitive and recreational.
Gallaudet Announces The Return Of Cross Country To The Bison Athletic Program

The Gallaudet Department of Athletics announced recently the return of its cross country program to the Bison program. Competition will begin in 2008.

The U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) honored Mary's Washington sophomore Jason Driscoll as well as Hood and Salisbury women's cross country teams with awards for academic and athletic achievement during the 2007 season.
2007 Capital Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country All-Conference Team

Salisbury University, the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) champion, placed seven runners on the mens cross country All-CAC teams as released today by the conference office. The Sea Gulls had four runners selected to the first team and three selections on the second team. Senior Eric Graves (pictured) was selected as the Runner of the Year.

Salisbury University won the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) men's cross country championship on Saturday afternoon. It is the third consecutive conference title for the Sea Gulls and their seventh overall.
