York Soph. BRET KILEFNER (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico) was named the CAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week after combining with Corie Thompson of the YCP women’s team to win a unique relay-style dual meet race against Goucher. Kilefner and Thompson combined for a top time of 34:36.

Mary Washington junior FRANK DeVAR (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) was named the CAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the third time this season after finishing second overall among 270 runners at the Gettysburg College Invitational, helping the Eagles to a 5th place finish. DeVar crossed the line with a time of 25:40, seven seconds behind the individual champion.

Salisbury senior ZACK DICKERSON (Elkridge, Md./Howard) was named the Oct. 14 CAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week after finishing second out of 180 runners in the DeSales Invitational. Dickerson’s time of 26:58 helped the Sea Gulls win the title in the 20-team event.

York senior JESSE JAEGER (Kingsville, Md./Perry Hall) was named the Oct. 7 CAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week after finishing second among Division III runners in the Goucher Classic. Jaeger, who wins the CAC weekly honor for the second time in the last three weeks, covered the 8K course in suburban Baltimore in 28:12.81.

Salisbury senior ZACK DICKERSON (Elkridge, Md./Howard) was named the Sept. 30 CAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week winning the Don Cathcart Invitational individual title and leading the Sea Gulls to second place in the team standings. Dickerson crossed the 8K race finish line in 20:06, 11 seconds ahead of second-place finisher and teammate Travis Boccher.

York senior JESSE JAEGER (Kingsville, Md./Perry Hall) was named the Sept. 23 CAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week after finishing second overall and leading the Spartans to second place in the annual York College Invitational at John Rudy Park. Jaeger covered the 8,000-meter course in 27:14.11 and was the first of five YCP runners to place among the Top 13 runners in the meet.

Mary Washington junior FRANK DeVAR (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) repeats as the CAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week after finishing ninth overall and first among NCAA Division III runners at the James Madison Open Invitational. DeVar’s time of 25.48 on the 7,900-meter coursehelped the Eagles finish third in the team standings behind only Division I programs from Georgetown University, which boasted six of the first seven runners across the finish line, and George Mason University.
